Selector: Users by clan

Synopsis

Under “Clan”, choose the owner’s clan. Only its members present in the zone are picked. Clan membership does not grant permission to edit circuits. Useful for notices, rewards or access just for the island’s clan.

Step by step

Send an announcement to the island clan

Boxes you need

  1. TriggerTrigger: Say something
  2. SelectorSelector: Users by clan
  3. EffectEffect: Show message
  1. Test on an island whose owner belongs to a clan. Bring one member of that clan and one non-member.
  2. Stack “Says something”, “Users by clan” and “Show message” on the same tile. Set the trigger text to “select”.
  3. For “Clan”, choose the owner’s clan. Leave filter and invert unchecked.
  4. In “Show message”, enter “Selected”, use “Users from selector” and the message mode addressed only to the user. Save every box and say “select”.

Result: Only members of the owner’s clan receive the message.

Notes

  • Clan membership alone does not grant rights to edit circuits.
  • The zone's clan is the clan of the island's owner.
  • A clan's admins are its leader and co-leaders.
