Object chest

AuxiliaryNo. 9306

Synopsis

It stores objects as they are, including sacks and ingots (diamond ones too, since they have no chest of their own). You deposit through the “Circuit Trade” with trade mode on, only with free bag objects and no open trade. Only the chest owner withdraws and changes its settings; to use it in circuits, enable circuits use in its settings and unlock it. The chest cannot be traded, sold or recycled.

Step by step

Store an object from your bag

Boxes you need

  1. Place an empty object chest you own. Close any trade you currently have open.
  2. Have one ordinary, tradable, non-VIP object in your bag. Do not use a placed, marketplace or clan object.
  3. Double-click the chest and choose Deposit. Add the object from your bag to Circuit Trade, accept, wait for the countdown and confirm.
  4. Reopen the chest and check its contents and log. Do not enable circuits use for this deposit test.

Result: The object leaves your bag and appears in the chest.

Settings

This object has no settings window of its own: you place it and use it as it is, or from the circuits menu.

Notes

  • Depositing depends on permissions and chest state. Contents are not converted to currency. Only the chest owner can withdraw and change its settings.
  • There are three chests: Object chest, Gold chest and Silver chest. There's no diamond chest: diamond bags and bars go in the object chest like any other object.
  • The Object chest stores backpack objects as they are, bags and bars included (they're still objects).
  • Only what's really in the backpack goes in: not an object that's placed, on the market, in the clan or offered in an open trade.
  • With a trade open you can't start depositing into a chest.
  • Only the chest's owner can withdraw, even with “circuit” turned on.
  • From the gold or silver chest you withdraw to your wallet, never more than it holds; from the object chest, to your backpack.
  • To use a chest in circuits, turn on “circuit” in its settings and remove the lock: it's locked when placed.
  • Upgrading a chest costs silver from the wallet: upgrade n costs n × 1,000, at most 5,000 per upgrade. Without enough silver it isn't upgraded and nothing is charged.
  • Reloading the island or restarting the server changes nothing: contents and balance stay with the chest.
  • Chests can't be traded, sold or recycled. Their contents go with the object.
