Room link
AuxiliaryNo. 9297
Synopsis
They are bought in pairs and come already linked. With Effect: Send to another room, the keko travels to the zone holding the pair and appears on it; if both are in the same zone, it is a local teleport. A link whose pair is not placed goes nowhere, and the destination zone must allow you in.
Step by step
Travel to the partner room link
- Use a pair of Room links that are already linked to each other. Place A and B on different tiles in your zone for the first test.
- On another tile, stack “Says something” = “travel” and “Send to another room”. Select A as the effect’s destination object and the triggering user as the recipient; save both boxes.
- Say “travel” and wait for the move. To test between zones, place B in another permitted zone and trigger again from where A is placed.
Result: A leads to its partner B. With both in the same zone, the move is local; with B in another zone, you arrive there.
Settings
This object has no settings window of its own: you place it and use it as it is, or from the circuits menu.
Notes
- The link comes with the pair; selecting any two links in a window does not create a pair. The destination partner must be placed and allow you to enter.
- Invisibility control hides the boxes, Invisible click tile, Disable circuits and Room link. Scoreboards, the Circuits clock, chests and the control itself stay visible.
- Room link items are bought in pairs.
- With Effect: Send to another room and a Room link, the keko travels to the zone where its pair is and appears on top of it; it takes 1 second.
- If the Room link's pair is in the same zone, it's a teleport.
- A Room link whose pair isn't placed does nothing.
- It also can't place objects BoomBang creates or places in a special way: tents, portals, teleports, Room link, bots, minotaur and similar, and unique zone effects.
