Effect: Freeze user
EffectNo. 9199
Synopsis
A frozen keko cannot walk but can still talk. You can pick a potion for their look (for example, “Spectre”) or “No potion”; it never replaces a bought potion. With “Unfreeze on teleport” they are released when a circuit moves them. Release them with Effect: Unfreeze user; great for freeze tag or turn penalties.
Step by step
Freeze and release a participant
Boxes you need
- TriggerTrigger: Say something
- EffectEffect: Freeze user
- EffectEffect: Unfreeze user
- On one tile stack “Says something” (“freeze”) and “Freeze user”. Choose the “Specter” potion and leave “Unfreeze when teleporting” unchecked. Use the triggering user and delay 0.
- On another tile stack “Says something” (“free”) and “Unfreeze user”, also for the triggering user with delay 0. Save every box.
- Say “freeze” and try walking; then say “free” and walk again.
Result: “freeze” prevents walking; “free” removes the freeze and restores movement.
Settings

Notes
- Freezing is not muting: the participant can still say the release word. The chosen potion does not replace a purchased potion. “No potion” freezes without changing how the keko looks.
- In Effect: Freeze user with an effect, 11 and 12 look like a spectre and a ghost, and 53 like the Halloween portrait. 218 and 163 show nothing.
- With “unfreeze on teleport”, the keko is freed when a circuit moves them.
- Avatar effects are potions: when a box asks for an effect number, that number is the potion id.
