Disable circuits
AuxiliaryNo. 9299
Synopsis
The owner or someone with rights toggles it with a click. While it is off nothing fires, not even a circuit trying to turn them back on. Its state is kept even if the island reloads; you can also pick it up to remove the block. Useful to pause your games while you fix them.
Step by step
Switch island logic off and on
- Set up “Says something” = “hello” with “Show message” = “Circuits are on”, targeting the triggering user. Save and check the message.
- Place the Disable circuits object. As the owner or with rights, click it once and say “hello” again.
- Click the switch again and say “hello” once more.
Result: The message stops while circuits are disabled and returns when they are enabled.
Settings
This object has no settings window of its own: you place it and use it as it is, or from the circuits menu.
Notes
- A visitor without rights cannot toggle the switch. The setting survives an island reload. A disabled stack cannot switch itself on; picking up the active switch also removes the block.
- Only the owner or someone with rights can use Disable circuits.
- While Disable circuits is on, nothing triggers, not even a circuit that tries to switch them back on.
- Circuits stay off even if the island reloads or the server restarts.
- Invisibility control hides the boxes, Invisible click tile, Disable circuits and Room link. Scoreboards, the Circuits clock, chests and the control itself stay visible.
