Scoreboard: every game (all time)

AuxiliaryNo. 9316

Synopsis

When each game ends it records each team's points as a new row, so the same people can have several rows. This model is never cleared by date. Each row stands for the team's members, and teams with no points are not recorded. The Effect: Supercircuit point commands only work on “every game” scoreboards.

Step by step

Keep every result without automatic reset

  1. Place this scoreboard and a Circuits clock on free tiles. Use a new or empty scoreboard so you can identify the rows from this test.
  2. Build a “Says something” = “red” stack with “Join team”: red team, Circuits game type and the triggering user. In another stack, set “Says something” = “goal” with “Give team points”: give 10 to the triggering user’s team. Save all four boxes.
  3. As the owner or with rights, left-click the clock once to start it. Say “red”, then say “goal” twice, leaving a second between actions. Left-click to pause, then right-click the paused clock to end the game.
  4. Check the scoreboard. Play a second game with the same person on the same team, but this time say “goal” only once before pausing and ending. Keep both games within the scoreboard’s same period.

Result: Two rows remain for the same person: one with 20 points and another with 10. This type keeps one result per team per game.

Settings

This object has no settings window of its own: you place it and use it as it is, or from the circuits menu.

Notes

  • This model does not reset when the date changes. Periods follow the server calendar. A row represents the team members, not its color. Teams without points are not recorded.
  • There are 12 scoreboards: every game, best by team and most wins, each one all-time, daily, weekly or monthly.
  • The supercircuit points commands (addpoint…) only work on the “every game” scoreboards.
