Gold chest
AuxiliaryNo. 9307
Synopsis
It only accepts the 1,000 Gold Sack and the 50,000 Gold Ingots: they disappear and add their value to the balance. Small sacks, bags of sacks and other ingots do not fit. Depositing requires trade mode; only the owner withdraws, and withdrawals go to their wallet. To pay prizes with Effect: Give coins from chest or contracts, enable circuits use and unlock it.
Step by step
Convert a sack into a gold balance
Boxes you need
- Place an empty gold chest you own. Close any trade you currently have open.
- Have a 1,000 Gold Sack (catalogue 361) in your bag. Use this currency’s sack, not a small sack or a bag of sacks.
- Double-click the chest and choose Deposit. Add the object from your bag to Circuit Trade, accept, wait for the countdown and confirm.
- Reopen the chest and check its contents and log. Do not enable circuits use for this deposit test.
Result: The sack leaves the bag and the chest shows 1,000 gold; no sack remains stored as an object.
Settings
This object has no settings window of its own: you place it and use it as it is, or from the circuits menu.
Notes
- Depositing depends on permissions and chest state. It also accepts official 50,000 ingots of its own currency. Only the chest owner can withdraw and change its settings.
- There are three chests: Object chest, Gold chest and Silver chest. There's no diamond chest: diamond bags and bars go in the object chest like any other object.
- The Gold chest and the Silver chest are filled with bags and bars, which disappear and add their value to the chest's balance.
- Values: Gold Bars 50,000 and Gold Bag 1,000 (gold); Silver Bars 50,000 and Silver Bag 1,000 (silver).
- Nothing else counts: small bags (x10, x50, x100, x500), bag bundles, pirate bars and diamond bars don't go in.
- A silver bag doesn't go in the Gold chest, and a gold one doesn't go in the Silver chest.
- Only the chest's owner can withdraw, even with “circuit” turned on.
- From the gold or silver chest you withdraw to your wallet, never more than it holds; from the object chest, to your backpack.
- Depositing bags in your chest and withdrawing them is a way to turn bags into wallet coins.
- To use a chest in circuits, turn on “circuit” in its settings and remove the lock: it's locked when placed.
- Upgrading a chest costs silver from the wallet: upgrade n costs n × 1,000, at most 5,000 per upgrade. Without enough silver it isn't upgraded and nothing is charged.
- Reloading the island or restarting the server changes nothing: contents and balance stay with the chest.
- Chests can't be traded, sold or recycled. Their contents go with the object.
