La madriguera was a bustling and welcoming place, an underground maze where Easter rabbits competed to be the most creative and original in their annual work. The soft ground floor was covered by dry leaves carpets, and the mud walls were adorned with Easter egg drawings in all possible shapes and colors. It was the most expected day of the year: the Ranking of Easter.
This event was the ultimate competition, the moment when it was decided who, among the rabbits, would be in charge of distributing the eggs to all the nearby burrows. This year, the competition was particularly intense, and three rabbits stood out above the rest: Chispa, the young bunny full of energy and new ideas; Luna, the wise rabbit who knew all the tricks and secrets of the Pascas; and Bigote, a major rabbit with a unique creativity, but with a rather traditional approach.
