📢 Flash Client End of Life (EOL) – July 1

Hello BoomBang Community! 🌴

We want to share important news about the future of the game.

After many months of development, testing and improvements, the HTML5 client has reached a level of maturity that allows us to take the next step. Furthermore, we are happy to see that more and more players are using it and that many new users have joined the community in recent weeks.

Therefore, we have decided to establish a definitive date for the end of life (EOL) of the Flash client.

📅 July 1, 2026

From that date on, the Flash client will no longer be available and BoomBang will work exclusively through the HTML5 client.

We know that Flash is part of BoomBang's history and that many of us have lived great moments in it. However, maintaining two clients at the same time limits development and makes it difficult to continue advancing at the pace we want.

With the retirement of Flash we will be able to focus all our efforts on improving, optimizing and expanding the HTML5 experience.

🚀 New launcher coming soon

We also want to inform you that we will publish a new desktop launcher, similar to the current one.

It will be necessary to download it again, since the current launcher uses a very old version of Chromium that has become obsolete and has important limitations in compatibility with modern web technologies. This prevents us from correctly using some JavaScript features and functionality that we need to continue evolving the client.

For this reason, those who wish to continue playing through the launcher must download the new version when it is available. We will post more information and instructions over the next few days.

⚠️ Help us in these last weeks

If you are still using the Flash client, we recommend starting to play from the HTML5 client to get familiar with it before July 1.

And if during these days you find any error, strange behavior or detail that can be improved, we will appreciate it if you report it on our Discord server, in the channel #reporte-bugs.

Your help during this period will be essential to finish polishing the experience before Flash is permanently retired.
