We have news, adjustments and some other changes to put things in place! 👀

This time we have touched on several areas of BoomBang, from email verification to rankings, including VIPs, avatars and, of course, clans.

Let's go in parts:

📧 Email verification

Good news! The email verification link is working correctly again.

Now, the email will be able to do its job as it should. 📩✨

🏆 Rankings

To make the player rankings as fair as possible, the team/staff is left out of the rankings.

This way we prevent someone from seeing the staff at the top and thinking:
"Of course, anyone..." 😏

💎 Supreme VIP

The Supreme VIP page has received a nice facelift with brand new art.

And yes, we've also done a little parting of ways: Sally's outfit no longer appears here, because Sally now has her own space as an independent character. 👀

😴 Avatars

We continue to make small, but important adjustments.

We have fine-tuned the aura, the "ZzZ" and the "...", correcting their scale and opacity so that they appear accordingly.

Because even the little dots need to be in their place. 😌

🏰 Clans

And we come to one of the most important parts of this Devlog.

We have added two measures to prevent abuse and situations where clan changes or massive victories could unfairly alter points.

⏳ 1. Cooldown when joining a clan — 72 hours

From now on, when you join a clan you will have to wait 72 hours (3 days) before you can contribute points to the clan or participate in ClanWars/CTF.

While waiting:

❌ You do not add points for the clan.
❌ You cannot play ClanWars/CTF.
👀 Yes you can see your clan's war as spectator.
🕐 A countdown will appear in the member list indicating how much time is left before you can start adding points. For example: "There are 2d 5h left to score points."
🛡️ You will also not count as a "clan present" during the games.

The latter means that bringing in three friends who have recently changed clans to try to inflate a clan's presence and points will no longer work. 😉

What if I log out and log back in?

Well... no. 😏

Leaving the clan and re-entering resets the 72 hours, so there are no shortcuts to bypassing the cooldown.

And the creator of a new clan?

The creator won't have to wait. Otherwise, a newborn clan would have to stare at the ceiling for three days before it could start adding.

🏅 2. Daily limit of 100 wins that add to the clan

We have also established a maximum of 100 victories per player per day that can contribute points to the clan.

From the 100th victory:

🟢 You can continue playing.
🟢 You continue to receive your gold normally.
🔴 But the following victories will no longer add points to the clan until the day next.

🔧 In summary

This update seeks to make the clan and ranking systems fairer, avoid abuses and, incidentally, leave some things a little more beautiful and polished.

We continue working on improvements and adjustments so that BoomBang continues to grow. 💙
