📌 What is it? 📌

A competitive ranking system for Ring that rewards both victory and technical performance (connected uppercuts). Each player moves up, down, or stays in a division based on their performance, just like in games like Valorant, League of Legends, or any modern competitive shooter.

Before: you won or lost and only the victory was counted.

Now: it matters how you win (uppers connected), it matters how you lose (falling at the first blow is not the same as fighting to the end), and it matters that you remain active.

🎯 How to enter the system? 🎯

- Play Ring 10 "positioning" games.

- At the end of game number 10, the system automatically assigns you an initial division based on your performance.

- From then on, each game you play adds or subtracts points and your division can go up or down.

- Important: during those 10 initial games, points count x2. It is to quickly get you to your real level. If you play like a champion you will go far. If you play casual, it also puts you where you belong.

- If you never play Ring, you have no division. The system only affects those who decide to enter the competition.

Each division has its own icon that is seen on your file when you do not have VIP or staff rank.

⚖️ How points are earned and lost⚖️

If you win the game:

A victory without fighting (winning because everyone fell before and you didn't connect any uppercut) does not give points. The system rewards performance.

If you lose the game:

This is the most interesting part: you can lose and still gain points if you played technically well. The system recognizes the effort. Getting eliminated in an epic fight where you landed 4 uppercuts is worth more than winning passively.

🎁 Bonuses and punishments 🎁

- Volume bonus: +3 every 15 games

- Every 15 competitive games played (won or lost, it doesn't matter), you receive an extra bonus of +3 points. It is a reward for perseverance and for those who dedicate time to the competition.

- Penalty for inactivity: -25 every 5 days without victory

- If 5 days pass without you winning a single Ring game, the system deducts -25 points. If you still don't win, it is reapplied every 5 days.

This prevents players who one day reached the top and left the game from continuing to occupy the top positions. The ranking reflects who is playing now, not who played before.

🔄 The seasons 🔄

The competitive is divided into seasons (e.g. Season 1 lasts ~4 months).

When you finish a season, your final split is recorded as your achievement for that season. You receive rewards based on the tier you finished in (rewards are set by the team and announced separately).

Start a new season, How do you start the new season (Valorant style soft reset). Your points are NOT reset to zero. We do a "soft reset":

New points = half of your points from the previous season.

And also:

You have to replay the 10 positioning games.

But you start with half of your old points, so if you finished in Master, you enter high again and you only have to confirm your level.

❓ Frequently asked questions ❓

Can I avoid entering the system?

- Yes. If you never play the 10 positioning games, you have no division. The system only affects those who decide to compete.

Do non-competitive Ring games count?

- Yes. Every Ring game counts. There are no "casual vs ranked modes" — all games add/subtract points.

What if I win a tournament or special event?

- That is managed separately. Competitive ranking and tournaments are different things.

Does my rank appear on my listing?

- Yes. Your division icon is displayed on your file when you do not have a staff or VIP rank. If you are VIP or staff, that icon has priority.

What if I disconnect mid-game?

- The uppercuts you have connected up to that moment count as a defeat.

Does the -25 inactivity penalty apply if I'm on vacation?

- Yes, it does not distinguish motives. It is an automatic system to keep the ranking fresh.

Can I see the overall ranking?

- Yes. There will be a leaderboard visible in the client with the top players of the active season.

When does the season start and end?

The end date is officially announced by the team. When it ends, there is a transition period and then the next one begins with an announcement.
